Winter Workshop Schedule

Day 1: January 2nd

  • 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Ballet Technique with Jerry Opdenaker: Start your workshop experience with a focused ballet technique class designed to refine your skills and artistry.

  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Choreography Repertoire Workshop: Dive into choreography with a repertoire workshop that emphasizes movement exploration and artistic expression.

Day 2: January 3rd

  • 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Ballet Technique with Jason Maison: Build on your technique with Jason Maison, focusing on precision and performance quality.

  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Contemporary Forms with Jacquelyn Elder: This class explores choreographic scores and movement material from TRAGÉDIE by Olivier Dubois. Drawing on years of performing and touring this iconic French work, participants will engage with key performance elements; presence, intensity, and collective energy, while experiencing the power and physicality of dancing this influential piece.

Day 3: January 4th

  • 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Ballet with Lauren Carey: Join Ballet Florida's Artistic Director, Lauren Carey, for a session focused on technique and artistry in ballet.

  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Formulas of Improv with Kyra Jean Green: This class explores systems of improvisation in relation to choreography. The goal is to discover and develop a new set of tools and ideas that will replenish creativity and inspire new pathways of movement.

Pricing

Three Day Pricing Discount: $270

Daily Rate: $100 per day (9:30 AM - 1:00 PM)

Drop-In Class Rate: $40 per class

Sibling Discounts: Available for students ages 15-18

Appropriate for: Dancers with experience above an intermediate level, including advanced and professional adult dancers ages 15 and up.
