THE
ACADEMY
Ballet Florida, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the heart of the Palm Beaches, is dedicated to making dance accessible through education at The Academy of Ballet Florida, performances by The Professional Company, and impactful community outreach and scholarship programs.
Located at the Community Foundation Building in West Palm Beach, our Academy provides a creative, nurturing, and welcoming environment where students receive elite technical and artistic training. Our goal is to develop well-rounded, versatile dancers who not only meet the demands of an evolving art form but also carry with them valuable life skills such as discipline, self-control, respect, and critical thinking. These principles are introduced at the primary levels and continue through our pre-professional programs, ensuring students grow as both artists and individuals.
The curriculum at Ballet Florida is rooted in classical ballet while embracing a well rounded approach to dance education. As students advance, they have opportunities to explore diverse styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, and acrobatics—broadening their movement vocabulary and enriching their overall dance experience.
Classes Offered: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Acrobatics, & More
