Apprentice Ensemble Christmas Tree Lighting Performance

This holiday season, Ballet Florida’s Apprentice Ensemble has been invited to perform at The Ben Hotel’s Christmas Tree Lighting—a festive, public celebration that brings together local nonprofits. To participate, we must purchase and decorate a signature tree. With your help, we’ll give our rising artists a magical stage and share the spirit of dance with our community. This will be the Apprentice Ensemble’s first ever performance.

What is the Apprentice Ensemble

The Apprentice Ensemble is Ballet Florida’s official pre-professional performance company, created for exceptional young dancers ages 11–18. Admission is highly selective and granted by audition only.

As members of this elite ensemble, dancers receive advanced training and invaluable stage opportunities that prepare them for the professional world. Throughout the season, the Apprentice Ensemble proudly represents Ballet Florida in exclusive performances, community events, and prestigious dance festivals, showcasing the artistry and dedication of our rising stars.

More than just performance, the program instills discipline, professionalism, and artistic growth. Dancers work closely with Ballet Florida’s renowned instructors and professional company members, gaining direct mentorship and insight into the life of a career artist. This unique access provides them with the tools, inspiration, and confidence to excel on and off the stage.
